The tone of the truther comments has taken a nasty turn on my YouTube channel recently. I’ve gone from being a “media controlled worm” to being complicit and maybe even culpable of killing people (or covering up for the killers) and of disrespecting the dead.

People on youtube who put these videos up, work for the murders who brought the buildings down. They want to distract you from the truth. Dont waste your time responding to them. have everyone you know watch videos called Missinglinks and forbidden knowledge and loose change. These Ashkenazi cowards will pay. Countrys like Cuba, Venezuela, Iran are planning to dirty bomb D.C.and other major U.S. cites. So get out now. Its a matter of time. They have a GREAT sense of urgency.

Well, I did invoke the ire of truth douche Nathan Moulton (and possibly Jon Gold) recently. The top three comments were from this video which was actually intended to be a joke and I thought would be taken as such by any sane person.

But then we are talking about truthers. :rolleyes:

I would call it funnier, since I've seen those types of comments on youtube before. My first reaction was disbelief, then concern, but now I have transcended to the laughing dogs.
 
I can't take any of that seriously. From experience witnessing paranoid morons in high school growing up, I have to say that the tenor of those responses indicate teenagers cracking themselves up while typing that, not grownups frothing at the mouth in genuine outrage.

I don't think even the fools posting that dreck are serious about what they say. This may be a statement of faith, but very few people are actually that benighted, and most of what we see online are simply multiple socks of very few, very bored and foolish children.

The only comments I've removed from my YouTube videos were about three blatantly anti-Semitic remarks and one case of obvious trolling. I let the truthers chatter away otherwise. In contrast, someone I won’t name (Jon Gold) apparently screens every comment before letting it pass.

Most of the truthers just spew the typical boilerplate ("pull it", etc.) or plug their favorite “truth” video but the change in tone seemed to coincide with the release of the NIST WTC7 report and the recent anniversary of 9/11.

Could the election have something to do with this, too?
 
I’m just confirming that, yes, Jon Gold appears to screen every comment on his videos.

I responded honestly to his “Ask Any Debunker” video and my reply was promptly deleted in less than two minutes. After that, he changed the video’s settings so that all comments must be approved by him before appearing.

As to the OP, I don’t think truthers are necessarily getting nastier. I think that as their support dwindles, only the most psychotic members remain.

Count yourself lucky. I just wrote a politically sensitive piece (nothing to do with 911 or CTs) and was sent a virus which I still can't remove, to go with the various "we know who you are" messages. (A bit obvious, seeing as it was on my personal website).

Off topic - sorry - you tried hijackthis? There are forums at every other junction of the tubes dedicated to interpreting its output - someone will be able to direct you to one. Put it this way; if it can be removed without formatting, this is the way to do it. Be warned however; do not run the program without explicit instructions as to what you are doing from a source you trust. It is a powerful weapon, and used without caution may completely destroy the system.

Getting nastier? Oh no... depending on who you encounter it's hard to distinguish any real change in the tone since they're worse than most to begin with.
