Should I video the public decapitation of My Teddy?

He's been asking for it for a while... ranting on about his brother, Allah, the golly-wog, who never lets him play with his toys. I said:"Look Muh. If you don't behave it's the 'blade' for you."

To which he replied:"You can sling your 'blade', I'm not frightened of you. I believe in a higher power of moderation!"

So, with that, my Golly got up and left home.

With all the P.C. soldiers onward marching to war... is My Teddy really enemy number one? Is Golly out-dated? Or has he been the victim of a conspiracy, by white supremacists, to get rid of the Golly, thereby achieving their twisted goals via P.C. ?

Ya know, I didn't know what this was about until I googled for "teddies".
I'm all for them.

Please don't hurt your Bear!

If you look at it from the anthropomorphic angle you can say, "Yes, Teddy has been bad and he deserves to be sent to bed without any supper!"

He got uppity with Golliwog. Sure! And, as you say, Golliwog has taken enough abuse through the years. There's no reason he should have to put up with that kind of guff from a mere Bear!

If you REALLY want to punish the Bear, shut him up in a dark closet for a few days. Teddy Bears HATE that! The worst punishment you can ever give a Bear is solitary confinement!

That ought to bring him around!

Now, lets look at the Teddy Bear as an inanimate object. The Bear is a symbol of friendship and kindness. It is a soft-sculpture item made in a pleasing form to be given to friends and loved ones as a gesture of love and/or goodwill.

As a matter of fact, the term "Teddy Bear" was coined after Pres. Theodore Roosevelt (AKA: "Teddy" Roosevelt) refused to shoot a captured bear cub. Writers, newsmen and politicians of the time seized on this event to promote Pres. Roosevelt as being a kind person and, thereby, worthy of reelection.
(I'm not an expert on history or politics but the crux of the "Teddy Bear" origination story is substantially true.)

Thus, the Teddy Bear has been passed down through popular culture as an icon to mean that one should not hurt others. (Or, at least, others who are not trying to hurt you first.)

Now, a person who destroys a Teddy Bear is basically saying that he does not agree with what the symbol stands for. If you video and, presumably, broadcast the destruction of a Bear you are basically broadcasting the message that you are an unkind, violent person who doesn't care about others.

That is obviously not true. You DO care about others because, if you didn't you wouldn't be so concerned about Golliwog being rejected.

So, if your Bear has been misbehaving, he should be punished in a manner appropriate for a Bear. Make him sit in the corner. Send him to bed without supper. Put him in "Solitary" for a while.

Merely ranting at Golliwog, even if he made racial slurs at Golli, does not warrant capital punishment! It is he, who would wantonly hurt a Bear in public without just cause, who is the evil one.

If you don't want your Teddy Bear anymore, please send him to me. I will make sure he gets a good home and, if he deserves it, the discipline he needs. I will even pay his postage!
