I had the good fortune to pick up a large carton of comics and books mainly in sf-fantasy genre at a remarkably low price. While there were some authors i was familiar with i came across atleast four books by James Barclay. A cursory reading of the blurb suggests he is a fantasy writer. My question is, is he any good?
