Are there any plans for having streaming video from TAM 8?
If so can anyone provide details on where we will be able to watch?

I must have watched at least 6 hours of TAM 7, including the surprise wedding and million dollar challenge, and would love to do so again.

Not this year, unfortunately. From Jeff Wagg:

Technical and logistic realities prevent us from streaming this year's TAM live. We regret this, but we will be videorecording the event, and the DVDs that follow will be expanded to include exclusive interviews and other interesting content. And for the first time ever, entire TAM Talks will be released on the Internet, with special content available for members of the JREF.

Yeah, no live video this year.

I know its a poor substitute, but a bunch of attendees are on Twitter, and will be commenting live all weekend. This can provide a play-by-play of what is going on if you know where to look. You don't need a Twitter account!

Most folks tag their posts with the "hashtag" #TAM8. So you can keep up with the TAM8 action with this Twitter search.

Also, I have a Twitter list containing all the TAM8 speakers. You can hit that page to see specifically what the speakers are up to.

Refresh early and refresh often.

I'm following it now. Funny, I just started following you last week after hearing your segment on Skepticality.

Thanks for the list and all your work in the skeptical community.

Oh man, a bunch of us in our local freethinker group who couldn't afford to make it to TAM this year were going to have a watch party at my house. But now that there's no live stream, I'm having to cancel :(

Hopefully I can go for real next year.

Krelnik is awesome :)

I'd be happy for a return to the days of selling DVDs from TAMs. There were some great talks last year and a couple I missed. This year should be the same.

Yes, it's too bad that apparently they've stopped producing the DVDs. I think I had heard that this was because the plan was to put all the talks online, available for free, but I think what's online now is only a limited selection.

I haven't heard of any plans to stream TAM 9.
