This coming Monday the 12 June, I shall be recording a debate programme with bestselling Christian apologetics author Josh McDowell (Best known for "Evidence that demands a verdict") who is over from the States. The radio station is Premier Christian Radio the programme is part of a series of debates between Christians and non-Christians. Debates are always carried out in a respectful and even handed way Pete Hearty of the NSS has been on the show a couple of times. We shall be recording between 10 and 11am on Monday 12th June.
If anyone would like to be involved to argue against Josh, they are welcome to get in touch. Ideally, I would like them to be able to come to our studio in Pimlico, London to take part in the programme, though it is possible to make a contribution over the telephone. The debate will primarily be on whether the claims of Christianity regarding the life, death, resurrection and divinity of Christ are plausible and on the reliability of the biblical accounts both Old and New Testament. We can also tackle objections to the whole concept of God, (Problem of evil etc.) You don't have to be an expert, just have an opinion, and I'm open to further suggestions too.
