Anti-EMU campaign in UK winds down.

Are they being premature, or is British participation in EMU still a viable proposition? The failure of the UK to adapt the Euro is likely to make things a bit tricky for the Irish economy over the next few years.
 
Whta the hell does the UK have against emus??? How could anyone hate an emu???

Not many are genuinely pro-euro.

There is a 'its gonna happen sometime so wtf' movement however. But the anti-EMU crowd should easily win them over by using knee-jerk tabloid tactics.

Well, there isn't great eating in them.

Emus and the UK? Now I've this image of Rod Hull falling of the roof in my head! (UK posters will know what I mean).

I can see the headlines in "The Sun" already. Another thing to keep in mind is that the electorate might see fit to vote agaisnt EMU out of no other motive but sheer spite for the incumbent government. It's happened here once or twice.
