Another psychic swing and miss

Where was the vision before she went missing?
I never could understand why they only crawl up from their holes after something has happened.
Can't they see the future? Isn't that the whole point?

Do these people really believe they are helping? I really can't understand if they are doing this in the belief that they really "know" what happened or if they are just frauds out for publicity. Either way it's just causing more harm to the family and friends of these missing people. It makes me so cross.

Well if they really knew what happened then there would be no search or missing woman at all. They would just tell the police and the police would go to where the body is and then arrest the bad guy.
Better yet call the woman and the police before she went missing and warn them.
That NEVER happens though! Why? If they are what they claim it should be a very normal thing. We would use psychics instead of police.
The police would only be used follow through on the psychics.
So that leaves only one explanation. That person was using the grieve and desperation of that missing womans friends to make a buck.

I personally couldn't live with myself if I did this and I can't understand how people can mess with peoples lives to make money. It's not like telling them they are going to meet a tall dark handsome stranger.

It makes me so angry

I agree! I couldn't live with myself either. But I also believe that telling someone they are going to meet a "tall dark handsome stranger" is also harmful just not as much.
If a "psychic" tells someone this knowing they have no idea who that person is gonna meet ever. Then that person more likely than not will base decisions of the people they do meet on what they were told.
So Mr. or Miss right could walk up to them but not be tall or dark or handsome, and they would pay no heed because they have been given a lie to hold on to and they would not want to "jinx" it.
Does that make sense?

It certainly does, a lot less harmless, but still potentially lige changing. I just posted on another thread (are psychics harmless) a similar thing to this, but I don't know how to link to it

I don't either. I will see if I can find it. But of course psychics wouldn't be around at all if there wasn't a very long line of people with more money than sense.

I know that I was one of them and have many friends who still are. Even when I tell them what I have learnt on this forum the still believe.

Think we have hijacked this thread and gone slightly o/t :)

Well I think it will be alright. I have found a lot of people need to believe in that stuff for whatever reason. I never could understand it myself. My favorite though has got to be psychic phone friends. If they were psychic and they were friends then would THEY call! LOL!

This has been a well publicized story, starting as soon as she was reported missing.

In almost every missing person case, the CourtTV forum seems to start speculating, discussing, reporting, obsessing and disecting every piece of information, whether it has to do with facts already known, or gossip from people who claim to know those involved.

I would be willing to bet some information about the park the couple frequented was in print online - well in advance of the psychic suggesting it as the place they should search.

The psychic wishes to remain anonymous. I wonder if they also wish to remain unpaid for their visions?

Julia

The article did say they "hired" a psychic. I think you are right. Information with just a google search on just about anything can turn up tons of stuff.
You know they ain't coming off their money. Their psychic signals got crossed with the deer I'll bet.
