Argghhhhh, like we don't have enough of these, I now have see articles about another one and she has a book The Light Between Us: Stories From Heaven, Lessons for the Living and a book signing tomorrow at Book Revue. I don't think I can make it to the signing, any other locals, can you get there?

Anyone want to do an amazon review?

Also, she lists herself as psychic medium who has been certified by the Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential and the Forever Family Foundation. Has anyone heard of either of these?

Just now, in your post. They sound impressive.

Some quick googling tells me the Windbridge Institute is a "research organization" that's focused on something called parapsychology. It looks be nothing more than a woo factory.

Ditty for the Forever Family Foundation.

Both of these institutions (and the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which gave Windbridge a quote to use on their website) talk on about something called "Afterlife Science". It looks to be your average psychic medium talk with the dead type of nonsense given a glossy new title to seem shiny and impressive. They attached the word Science to it after all.

This is the first I have heard about anyone certifying psychics, sounds like someone found a way to make money off of them. Pay your fee and you are a certified psychic. I just searched "certified psychic" and found a whole list of places that certify them, sheesh.

I wish I could get to the signing tomorrow, but I may have to contact Book Revue and note my anger at their promoting this nonsense. I know they just want to sell books but it still bugs me.

The dead might not come back to life but woo always does.

The entrepreneur in me sees a market need for a company that can certify these companies which certify psychics. Anyone want in?

But do they mention quantum with/about it???????

You and me both.

If you both mean the planet Earth, I'm with you two too.

Edmonton atheists picket at U of A as psychic claims to communicate with the dead for show

Colette Baron-Reid’s show at the Myer Horowitz Theate (sic) at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, called “Messages From Spirit,” was sold out.

Baron-Reid says she gets messages from dead people, adding they describe themselves to her through emotions, pictures and memories.

Karen Kerr of the atheists groups says psychics are just really good at doing what she calls a “cold reading.”

Ha. Ha. :(
