earlier today i stopped by the local (boston) truther meet up page and was greeted with a message saying they have no organizer and the page will be taken down in 1 day.

i have mixed feelings. it's nice to see sanity prevail, but truthers DO entertain me, albeit in a cynical, point-and-laugh sort of way.

Democratic US Representative Rick Larsen just dodged a bullet in WA-02, where Democratic challenger Dick McManus has apparently announced that he is dropping out of the race... or the dance... or something. You read the exact wording of his statement for yourself and see if you can figure it out:

Because I have not raised $1,740 in campaign contrabutions, my name and issues will not be on the ballet.​
It's hard to imagine how the McManus campaign was so shockingly derailed, but I can only presume that failing to raise enough money to pay the filing fee might have something to do with it. Also, spelling.

it looks like someone stepped up to the plate, since the countdown to doom is no longer there.

of course, i doubt being an organizer of a group like that is much of a commitment; from looking at their calendar, they've only had about 5 "events" in the past 6 months, none of which seemed to have had much, if anything, to do with 911. 2 of the events were screenings of some truly awful-looking animated movie called "silver circle".
 
I'd say someone from/connected to WAC Boston saw this thread and should thank the JREF Forum for their continuing existence.

Truthers, don't say we don't do anything to help you!

Looks like the new guy is perfectly qualified for the job, being an outspoken opponent of - among many other things - the NWO, flouride [sic], martial law, mind control and chemtrails.

Wow, that's actually, honestly kind of sad. He hasn't had anyone else to talk to on that page since March, and even then, he didn't talk to them. Thread replies, "0".
 
It reminds me of that Buffy the Vampire Slayer board that Cracked.com listed as a creepy place on the web which just had one member conversing with themselves in multiple threads.
