Another Mars meteorite may hold clues to life

Here’s the crux of the matter from what I gather; having read the article you posted:

A resemblance between the material in the meteorite and features of microbial activity in volcanic glass from our planet's ocean floor further support the idea they are biological in origin, says the paper/

One of the geological professors mentioned in the article doesn’t think there’s strong evidence that the carbon has biological origin, unfortunately. I hope they're mistaken and find proof of life outside this fishbowl once and for all.
