Hi all. Can anyone recommend books on the following topics?


1. Evolution.
I came across Life on a Young Planet: The First Three Billion Years of Evolution on Earth on Amazon; anyone read it or have other suggestions?

2. Bible critique.
I was considering Misquoting Jesus and/or Lost Scriptures, both by Bart Ehrman.

3. I just finished Dawkins' God Delusion and am sad about being done with it, I enjoyed it so much. What is another good Dawkins book?

1 and 3 can be combined fairly readily, as Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist and most of his work is in that area. For a more scientific approach, try The Selfish Gene. For a more science-popularization approach, I would suggest The Blind Watchmaker or The Ancestor's Tale.

I just picked up Evolution in Action by Julian Huxley, published in 1953. Haven't read it yet because I got several books on my Used Book Store Tour and decided to read Hsun Tzu's Basic Writings first.
