I am becoming seriously impressed with the Anonymous movement and their Project Chanology. Once they stopped screwing around with stupid hacker stunts, they actually started to organize street protests of the Cult of $cientology.

The first protest took place worldwide on Feb. 10th

The second worldwide protest was on March 15th

The next set of worldwide protests is on April 12th - and Anonymous plans to continue these protests every month for the forseeable future!

If you are interested in getting involved in one of these protests or just want more information, check out the following link:

Please pass this information on to anyone whom you think is interested. It is high time the Cult of $cientology is exposed for the fraud it is.

Knowledge is free.

We are quite more than just hackers. If we hack, we do it for a good, justified purpose. Project Chanology was very justified, in this case.

I encountered their protest in February, here in Kansas City MO. At first I thought they were some anti-abortion snifflers, but when I saw "Scientology is a CULT", I "tootled" my horn a few times in support.

I would prefer they would have confronted a table setup on the sidewalk in front of the local Barnes & Noble last Sunday in the Plaza area (trendy KCMO shopping spot).

It was very difficult to refuse a "FREE!" personality test that the Hubbardians were offering.

Probably should have gone back in March..

(Well, they had 'a' cake and it looks like there were more than a few fingers swiping icing, but, still...)

I'd love to go to this one, but...

1) I've got a previous engagement that I can't change.
2) I haven't found a Guy Fawks mask yet.

This movement will be studied for years to come.
Organizing without an organization.
This will be my third, and I will be there until its gone. I have been fighting them for over 30 years.

And when your grandchildren ask what you did in the great fight against evil, you won't have to say, "I was shovelling ◊◊◊◊ in Louisiana." (apologies to G.S. Patton)

Its bad.

I didn't go this time.

I helped a friend move a truck and we took longer then expected.

In Feb. there were wind chills of -20 here in the Detroit area, and we had over 100.
Todays forecast:
# Today: Considerable cloudiness with occasional rain showers. High 46F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
# Tonight: Evening light rain followed by a mix of rain and snow overnight. Low near 35F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precip 70%.
Gotta love these kids.
A touching moment of cross-generational solidarity. Brings a tear to my eye:

Successful good-natured protest #3 here. The pressure stays on. Can you feel it Scientology?

Are those people wearing KFC buckets on their heads?

I believe so. I can clearly see an upside-down Colonel if I pause it at the right spot.

Personally, I find KFC to be way too greasy, but I wouldn't disconnect from someone that enjoyed it. Perhaps it's a form of protection for Anonymous that get forced into an auditing session...

I found some YouTubes from yesterday's local protest. It doesn't look like there was as many as last month's shindig. I suppose it was the crappy weather.

I do hope they have one in May.

And when your grandchildren ask you what YOU did in the Epic War Against the Evil Cult, you won't have to say, "I was shoveling ◊◊◊◊ in Louisiana."

All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.
