Amnesty International has called on Canadian authorities to arrest and prosecute George W Bush, saying the former US president authorised "torture" as he directed the US-led war on terror.

Bush is expected to attend an economic summit in Surrey in Canada's westernmost British Columbia province on October 20.

I guess the Amnesty International has set its sight on lesser evil owing to the failure of convincing the US Congress to impeach president Obama for authorising the US special forces with the shooting of Osama bin Laden instead of bringing him to the USA to stand trial.

Oh, boy . . .

Let's think about this- would Stevie-Boy Harper be more likely to arrest his hero, or give him the Order of Canada, honorary citizenship, and a knighthood to go with it?

(Yes, I know he's not actually allowed to give him any of that stuff, but since when has Harper cared?)

Are you having treatment for this idée fixe?
I'm not a member of organization called "Amnesty International." I know that you suspected that it was me who initiated the idea to arrest George Bush, but that's just a result of your failed attempt to think stuff over.

I do not think that George Bush blew up the Twin Towers. That is a truther delusion. Neither do I believe in a sky daddy. Yet another Epix fail. It's so predictable.

I'm not really sure what Amnesty International hopes to accomplish with stupid stunts like that.

So Bush authorizing the torture of prisoners is the same to you as Obama finally seeing the death of Osama, (who BTW confessed to involvement in the WTC deaths on video), through to its finish?.

It would seem Amnesty International thinks so at the very least - if not judging it of less account, considering they tried to go after Obama first...

Amnesty has gone downhill over the years. They're acting more and more like a branch of Code Pink. America-bashing and Israel-obsessed.

It appears to me to be nothing but a silly stupid publicity stunt, and it only serves to detract from whatever credibility Amnesty International has/had.

I don't have an issue that AI sticks to its principles when it comes to assassinations vs trials, (like the ACLU sticks to its principles when it comes to the rights of distasteful people).

AI re Osama
Amnesty International has asked the US and Pakistani authorities to clarify aspects of the operation in Abbottabad in which Osama bin Laden was killed.

The organisation specifically requested information on the status and whereabouts of those who were with bin Laden and the circumstances of his killing.

“We are seeking information from the US and Pakistani authorities about how many people were in the compound at the time of the operation, what happened to them and specifically what is the status and current whereabouts of the survivors,” said Claudio Cordone, Senior Director at Amnesty International.
That is a lot different from requesting an arrest.

Haven't several EU countries also had their own citizens request charges be filed against some of the Bush Admin folks as well?

I didn't write the news article neither do I endorse its content, I just copy/pasted it and shared it. Since you are an extremely dense individual, you failed to comprehend the text of the article that describes the reason why Amnesty International goes after George Bush - it has nothing to do with the 9/11 conspiracy.

I was speaking in the broader sense but you are too dense to understand.
