An add for a telescope seen on Ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Celestron-C...31262697?pt=US_Telescopes&hash=item2ebc83fee9
Unbelievable! You've had me since I left the factory. A couple of years ago, I was the only thing you could think of. You couldn't wait for it to get dark so you could take me outside. All that talk about how much you loved my F5 "fastness", how my 150mm "appy" filled your view, the smoothness of my focuser, my "ease of collimation", the compactness of my 750mm length.
We went to the mountains together, wide open fields with just the two of us, alone. The wine, the stars, the astrophotography. Nobody had ever looked through me with a camera before. I still have that tiny dent from the first time we tried to "piggyback". We shared the Universe together!
And now you leave me for a refractor!?! Oh sure she's an "APO" and all that but you know how those sorority girls are. She's older than me and believe me Mister, your not the first one to take her out in the field! I bet she was everyone's favorite at the "Star Party". Who know who has had their hands on her focuser? Where's that little ED glass been, Miss Apo? Oh, and I can't take 2" eyepieces? So what! I believe my aperture is a bit bigger than yours Ms.Apo. It's called "light gathering capability". Duh!
I see she gets my mount too! Why don't you just go ahead and put your greasy fingers all over my primary while your at it!
That's OK though. I'm still pretty new and shiny. Someone out there will appreciate me. I'll just pack up my rings, dovetail, and cute little finder and find a new home.
And when your out there at that dark-sky sight trying your best to peek through her lil' lenses at some far-off galaxy and it's just "not happening", don't come looking for your "Big One-Five-Oh Baby" to help you out. I'll be light-years away!
