Fringe radio host Alex Jones on Monday reacted to a Las Vegas shooting by blaming it on a globalist conspiracy to take away gun rights and other freedoms from Americans.

At a press conference on Monday, Las Vegas officials said that Jerad and Amanda Miller ambushed two Metro officers, 42-year-old Alyn Beck and 32-year-old Igor Soldo, at a pizza parlor, and then decorated the bodies with a Gadsden flag — often called a “don’t tread on me” flag — and a swastika.

Writings uncovered by Raw Story at Alex Jones’ Infowars website, appeared to have been made by Miller.

On his Monday radio show, Jones immediately called the shooting a “false flag” operation by the U.S. government.

“Tens of millions of people are flooding here, hundreds of thousands a month, pouring over the borders, being given driver licenses in California to pull the lever to ban guns,” Jones warned. “We are in the middle of a globalist revolution against this country right now. And my gut tells me that the cold-blood degenerate evil killing of two police officers and a citizen in Las Vegas yesterday is absolutely staged.”

So we've now had at least two cases where "false-flaggers" have committed acts of violence (Michael Cravey aka "Thomas Brinkley" being the other) and afterwards, other conspiracists claim that this is a false flag!
 
Interesting, though, that he referred to his gut as evidence. Usually he goes on some rant about all the secret evidence nobody wants you to see...

I'd be curious to know if he ever cited his gut before.
 
Once again we come across the kooks asserting that the conspirators are simultaneously nefarious masterminds and incompetent chuckle-heads. Why would the deaths of three adults in Las Vegas change the direction of U.S. gun law policies? If the government were really stupid enough to think that mass shootings would advance its hidden agenda, then why stop at three people in one afternoon? Surely the Black Ops folks would have seen that hitting an elementary school, an afternoon church service, and a shopping mall would cause much more panic and kneejerk reactions. Actually a D.C.-sniper copy-cat would advance the anti-gun agenda even more.

I cannot imagine a more pissant false flag operation that what Alex Jones is claiming.

Two years before Jerad Miller and his wife, Amanda, allegedly gunned down two police officers and a third person in a Las Vegas shooting spree, before taking their own lives, he pondered when it might be justified to kill law enforcement officers on the website of conspiracy-peddling radio personality Alex Jones. In a May 28, 2012, post titled, "The Police (To Kill Or Not To Kill?)" Miller wrote on Jones' Infowars.com website: "I live in Indiana and recently a law was passed named the right to resist law. As i can make out from it, if a police officer kicks in my door and is not there legally, then I may shoot him."

His posts on Infowars depict an angry, down-on-his-luck man who blamed his woes—decaying teeth, lack of health insurance, and inability to find work—on the tyranny of government. (Alex Jones has insisted the shooting spree Miller and his wife allegely carried out was "absolutely staged" by the federal government.) The justice system became a focus of Miller's wrath following his arrest for selling marijuana. "Before I got arrested I had 2 jobs and was selling weed to my friends and family on the side," he wrote. "Now I cannot find a job. My probation officer states that if I protest that my probation will be violated. They have tried to tell my fiance, who has no criminal record, that she may not own a firearm if I live in the house. Now, i face a dire problem."

The real irony is, it appears the two shooters were acting on the basis of paranoia similar to the kind Mr. Jones constantly espouses.

It's hilarious, actually. You're absolutely right. Time and time again these people harp on how anytime anybody in the US ever shoots someone else it's a "false flag", and that the fine citizenry needs to "stand up" to the tyrannical usurpers; but anytime one of them does take the initiative, it's just called another false flag by the rest (that citizens need to stand up to the government over).

If Jerad Miller were alive, I wonder what he would be thinking to hear his own community denouncing his grand revolution as just another false flag staged by the government. Would it give him an epiphany, so tragically too late?
 
I did like the part in Alex's rant where he dramatically related a report that in addition to the Joker, Jerad Miller sometimes dressed up as SKINNY-MAN.

These morons really don't get it that the logical end point of their insanity is a rampaging idiot getting himself and others killed in the pursuit of some stupidity or other. For them to start bleating that it's all some sort of plot is the most circular of circular arguments.

Oh, and I really do feel like bludgeoning people who start screeching "false flag" like some demented paranoid parrot whenever something happens that they don't understand or like. Bludgeoning over and over and over...

It´s kind of insulting - well, it would be if the conspirators actually existed - towards those conspirators that Jones thinks the same masterminds who murdered 3,000 people on 9/11 would stoop so low as to murder people in penny packet s, 3 people here, 7 people there, rather than going all out like they used to.

Please remember that Alex Jones is an entertainer with a very specific audience. His main goal is ratings and advertising dollars not evidence. He's the Howard Stern of conspiratards. He's much easier to understand (and dismiss) in this context.

As opposed to someone like Dick Gage, he's brilliant. Gage is just a con artist.

The Fisher King, except the shock jock doesn't have a conscience in this case. Disgusting. He creates his own material by getting others to kill, calls them a government hoax, and thereby has more material to inspire the weak minded to hate government employees and kill again. It's a sickness.:mad:

I think the families of these victims should all sue Jones. It's clear that his nonsense was hugely influential on the shooters, and he should reasonably have known that he was creating a risk of people doing exactly this.
 
So the recent mass shootings are all staged to facilitate a coup, which angers the conspiracy theorists. These theorists then lash out... and the rest of the conspiracy theorists label their fallen conspiracy theorists as "in on the conspiracy." :confused:

So essentially there is no fighting/beating the conspiracy.

The problem is that these folks "dumb enough to not only believe it, but to act on it," are the last ones who will listen to anyone telling them anything different; people like these are a perfect demonstration of the power of the echo chamber at work.
