SEALs are highly trained in local customs, so all he had to do was promise his sister's hand in marriage. ;)

So much for some assertions by members here that all Muslims are out to destroy Americans or that moderate Muslims better start putting their money where their mouth is.

It seems that humans with a little empathy goes a lot farther than any labels we care to attach.

Right on.

I am truly concerned for the well being of these villagers. I’m sure the Taliban will seek retribution on these folks. Hopefully, enough care was taken to keep the identity of the specific village and people involved secret.

It took a lot of courage for them to do the humane thing.
