Afghanistan Refugees pepper Sprayed.

Deplorables.

You can't call them deplorables that is way worse than just attacking innocent people with pepper spray. After all that is something they should get used to as it is one of the cops favorite games to play.

Crazy that all these years of imperial violence has lead to incredibly toxic consequences in the metropole. Truly unforeseeable consequence of a decades long "war on terror" against brown muslims.

You do realise that millions of Afghanis may starve to death because the US government has seized the Afghan government bank accounts, and you are expressing outrage over one US citizen pepper spraying three? Afghanis. The real genocidal crime is happening in Washington (DC) not Kentucky.

I have enough hate in my heart for all of the above.

Afghans are at risk of starvation because the Taliban forces farmers to use every available patch of land for growing poppies, and kill the families of the ones who don't comply. Releasing drug money is more likely to perpetuate the cycle rather than help anyone.

That is US foreign aid it never belonged to the Taliban and never should.

This is untrue.

The Taliban do not make people grow poppies. They do not kill the families of those who do not comply. Opium farming is a 'mom and pop' business in Afghanistan. If you want to know the truth about the opium business in Afghanistan read the reference below.

The money seized by the US is the Afghan government accounts (not the Talibans). The money it is true will be in part from donations from overseas aid budgets but also includes tax receipts. It is the money to pay teachers and civil servants and doctors.

There has been a drought for the past four years, in the past there could have been a migration from the rural areas to the cities to earn money, but with the freezing of government funds even the cities have no money to pay people.

When the Taliban were previously in power they banned opium farming, it exploded during the US occupation.

If the money was given to the Afghan government then it was given, much of it by countries other than the US. It is not the property of the US. The Taliban have agreed to external supervision of the expenditure of these funds to ensure it is only spent on teachers, engineers, health services etc.

ETA It also includes tax receipts from Afghanis.
