AE911Truth Petition - An Analysis - Part One (Professionals A & B)

Richard Gage's group, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, has updated their support numbers via their petition, claiming now that "2151 experts" support their notions of controlled demolition for the WTC 1,2 and 7. I went to the site, looking at the redesigned petition. It has a much better organized layout now, but it allows laypeople to post as well, even though it would seem to undermine the purpose of the site, to show legitimate disagreement and discussion of the NIST report, FEMA report, RJ Lee report, etc by trained architects and structural engineers.

A few years back, a similar analysis was done before, here on JREF. Back then, it was "1600 experts" being cited for their educated views.

A follow-up analysis now seems to be in order, since the new numbers are 2151 , and Richard Gage's organization has a history of padding their numbers. I will go through each section of the petition list alphabetically, separating the "A & E" section from the "general public" section.

When I'm done, we'll be able to see how well AE911Truth's experts number holds up to scrutiny, and anyone will be able to duplicate my work to verify or falsify it.

My methodology for this analysis has been to go through all the US professionals listed in the petition, and hold their provided profiles up against the following criteria:

1. Petitioner must be either a tall-building architect with experience in same; or,
2. Petitioner must be a structural engineer; or,
3. Petitioner must be a chemical engineer; and,
4. Petitioner must make a 9/11 statement; and,
5. Petitioner must make a 9/11 statement that uses their training in its composition.

I removed petitioners from consideration if they were the following: LEED developers, city planners, historic preservation specialists, low-rise specialists, wood-frame specialists, architectural managers, single-family residential architects, CAD artists, building inspectors, sustainable/green architects, architectural professors with no experience, and architects who provided no specialty.

I removed petitioners from consideration if they were the following: civil engineers, industrial engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, aerospace engineers, aeronautical engineers, facilities engineers, materials engineers, engineering managers, geodetic surveyors, transportation engineers, environmental engineers, agricultural engineers, electronic engineers, mining engineers, software engineers, systems engineers, engineering professors with no experience, and engineers who provided no specialty.

I removed petitioners from consideration who provided no bio.

I removed petitioners from consideration who provided no 9/11 statement.

I removed chemical engineers from consideration who provided no analysis or indication of any support for Gage's claim of nanothermite in the dust.

These men and women are leaps and bounds above me in their specialties. I did so because their training and specialties would not allow them to speak knowledgeably about the WTC collapse initiations.

So, with that said, here are the results:

As I said above, I focused on the US petitioners, because those were simpler to follow to ground. I took the non-US petitioner numbers at face value, for the purposes of this analysis. I may turn the same methodology to those names at a later date, but this was work enough, and I think it might end up providing a reasonable prediction for how those non-US petitioners will shake out.

Okay, here is the meat of the whole thing. Any tally errors are mine alone.

US petitioners, taking their numbers at face value - 1646.

Non-US petitioners, taking their numbers at face value - 520.

Total, taking the above as a sum - 2166.

The US petitioners who meet the criteria stated above - 6.

I expected to see a big discrepancy in the numbers, but not this drastic. I am surprised. 1 of those 6 names is Gage himself.

Gage has done a lot to expose more of the general public to the ideas of 9/11 Truth. Ideas and phrases that we have long ago identified as boilerplate TM memes, are new to many of those outside of the movement.

It's gotten quite simple to identify someone in the petition who has just heard this material for the first time, because they'll repeat Gage verbatim, within their 9/11 statement in the petition. And they do it uncritically, another reason why I remove those individuals from consideration, because they definitely don't have their science hat on.

...and so on are rife in the 9/11 statements in the petition. It just goes to show you that even smart people can be caught up in a lie if it reinforces what they want to believe. I also read a lot of "I knew from the moment the towers came down that something was up", which reveals in some that predisposition to believe the things Gage says, so I removed those people from consideration. Comments like "you don't have to be an architect or engineer to see that this was a controlled demolition" also served to show that individuals who make such comments are NOT using their training to arrive at such a conclusion.

A few questions, sorry if I've misunderstood what you've done...

How many petitioners were excluded ONLY because of advocating one or more of the above? That is to say, they were a tall-building architect, structural engineer or chemical engineer, but who made a 9/11 statement that included one or more of the above phrases?

How many petitioners were excluded ONLY because they did not make a 9/11 statement? Again that is to say they had the required qualifications to be included but did not make a 9/11 statement? I can't understand why you removed this group from the results.

How many chemical engineers were removed ONLY because they did not mention nano-thermite?

Also on the 'regurgitation' of Richard Gage's presentations part, if the respondent happened to agree 100% with what Gage was saying, why are they excluded from the count for expressing themselves in similar language to Gage? People do that all the time - it's an efficient way of imparting information, you don't need to rephrase it, and it's not a valid criterion for exclusion from this count, surely?
