me to a gentleman named Dr. Hovind who is a creationist. It just so happened that his radio show was airing as I looked at his website so I decided to tune in and call. After introducing myself as a first time caller/listener and not really knowing much about his I asked him "how is the claim that it is impossible for their not to be a god proof enough that there is one?" (he had made this claim earlier in his show). He then went on some silly comparison to a pool only filled with water in the top 7 inches and that the fact that it was impossible was proof that it wouldnt be the case. I then informed him that we could actually go check to prove one way or another and not have to rely on faith. After a little more back and forth he then said "the law of thermodynamics states that matter cannot create itself, therefore the universe could not have always been" I responded by stating that if the matter in the universe has always been then it did not have to create itself so the law still holds. He then said we have to go to break please hand on the line. Needless to say I was magically disconnected.

Nice job, and Hovind is weasely.

Next time save yourself the cost of a call and mail him a box of feces.

Yeah I learned that after his 90 minute radio program. Funny thing about it, is I actually enjoyed listening to his show. I will probably listen in for about 3 days before it gets tiresome.

I wonder if that is actually legal.... I doubt it, but you never know. Anyone know?

Just to put your mind at ease I have no intention of mailing him feces, despite the large amounts he sends through the "airwaves" (if you knew the radio station you would understand why it is in quotes) each night.
