A DC Denier who's also apparently a physicist tried to nail her down on the Star Wars Beam Weapon, but she keeps slipping away to the photos. She clearly is out of her league here, claiming that "various types of energy" have been used to "dustify steel".

It's frustrating to watch this though because as good as this guy is, and he seems pretty good so far, you know he's still a "Truther", and so somewhere he's got the same type of loose wire that Judy Wood does, only hers is a trifle more obvious.

Let's not all get geeky here and talk about her, um, rather unique charms.:rolleyes:
 
That was just frustrating to watch. So far I have only skimmed through it, but I don't see the point in watching it all the way through. Anyone suggesting laser beams is a waste of time to listen to.

I hope someone makes a page of Judy, like Baghdad Bob had done on him. All the comedy gold quotes, in one place. Perry has a great one on Alex Jones. This chic is far and away the craziest, of the crazy.

Ah, a moment of true hilarity! Starting at about 19:00 Judy and Greg get into a little debate about how high the top of the building would be in a photo of the South Tower as it's collapsed about halfway. Amazingly she estimates it would be ridiculously higher than it could possibly be. In fact it would still be within the photo she shows, but she starts out estimating it would be about 2 feet above the top of the photo. Greg's quite flabbergasted at this estimate, which of course is not even in the ballpark; it's the kind of mistake that a ten-year-old might make. But then he adds his own mistake:

"The width of the building is 200 meters, and the height of the building is 1300 meters."

Um, he's correct if a meter is a foot.

He also gives away his trutherism by commenting on the "oxygen-starved fires."

Edit to add: I don't know how anyone could ever take Judy Wood seriously about her views on the events of September 11, 2001 in the first place but, surely, nobody - not even the most diehard of twoofers - could possibly take her seriously after that particular interview.

Judy was an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering at my alma matter, Clemson. Friends of mine who took classes with her reported that she was a royal nutcase who would spend half of the class trying to convince everyone that the towers were blown up, there was a government conspiracy, etc.

Who is Ed? :confused:

I really feel sorry for this women. She´s ruining her
career and possibly her life, too. I can't imagine what
will happen to her mind if she wakes up.

A loved one should talk to her very sensitively before
she sinks even deeper into her ideas.
 
Question:

Is Judy Wood a true all out nutter, or is she just a woman who had no friends, who found companionship amongst those in the truth movement...or both?

I don't find this amusing. The woman is clearly mentally disturbed -- it's obvious in a matter of seconds. Let's just leave her alone and hope she finds her way out of this hole.

While I agree, she is to have our pity more than anything, she may not have the where with all to find her way out, as you have put it. She may be clinging on to the world created around her, that accepts her, her "ways", and her "science".

Wow. Just wow. The 20th minutes stuff with the debree is retarded. Is she trying to link the 'lack of debree' in her eyes to material being vaporised? She is using that picture to base her whole arguement? Isnt the smoke in her picture she is pioneering smoke from the North Tower? The guys reaction at about 25:10 is classic. Just like a 'Um im completely dumbfounded'.

the 29th minute he is doing well not to get angry. She just starts getting so defensive and its her thats making all the conversation totally confusing.

Oliver, in these threads, "Ed" is an alternate for "God" for the athiests among us. It probably doesn't translate well, but there you have it :)
