A couple of us geeks got together and cobbled together a cluster. This is a set of computers that acts as one large computer & increases the power you can use to do things.

The problem being, we're not really sure what to do with it. SETI @ Home has been mentioned, but it doesn't seem to be multi-thread aware and we don't want to hack code.

Any ideas? Preferably something ready-made we can toss onto one machine for a benchmark, and then across a cluster for comparision?

The protein folding software says it works fine on a cluster.

Using a cluster on a super-cluster type program seems rather redundant. We were looking for something that could be adventageous tor un on a cluster, preferably something useful.

current talk is to attempt breaking wifi security keys. Not for any good reason other than to see if we can do it (we'll be making up our own keys).
