A tiny acorn we planted last year has sprouted. The NHS homeopathic hospital in Tunbridge Wells (UK) is to close. Two medical homeopaths will be updating their CVs, and £160,000 per annum will be available for proper medicine. Small as the saving is, the value for society is huge. At last a serious demonstration of good sense by a National Health Service organisation. The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital is on 20% reduced funding already, and diminishing. It will wither on the vine pretty quickly. Its director Peter Fisher can then peddle woo to his royal patrons full time I suppose.

I wouldn't call that a small victory. I'd call it a first step towards a victory of scinece and reason. Hurrah!

Let's keep this avalanche rolling, wherever possible. Don't let this be the only victory.
