I was buying "The God Delusion" at Barnes and Noble this morning, when the cashier, a woman I'm guessing in her early twenties, noticed the Penn and Teller blurb on the cover.

She went on for the next minute about how cool she thought Penn was, how she loved his radio show, and how to get it as a pod cast.

Warming to see "younger" folks taking an interest in skeptical personalities.

Being a barker and poking fun at others does not equate to skepticism.

Sigh, would you rather they be interested in the latest America Idol winner or faith healer.

Even if Penn and Teller are not perfect rational in all their skepticism, they are a damn sight better than many of the alternatives.

I was at TAM3, when someone in the audience got them to admit that they were wrong on the second hand smoke issue.

Are they perfect, no, who is. Does their libertarian politics annoy me, yes.

They are still better than many alternatives and more importantly, from my experience, they are making in-roads in new groups of people. Especially, young people.
