A pet psychic in the park

No, it wasn't a psychic on a leash. Me and my dad were just walking through a local park. About 30 feet from the path was a shade canopy with a sign that simply said "Pet psychic". There was another sign, but I couldn't read it from that far away (most likely listing their low low prices ). Two people were sitting in lawn chairs. Unfortunately, there was a third person... with a dog. You can guess what he was doing there.

I had a good laugh, but it disturbed me at the same time.

Anyone else witness the paranormal hitting close to home?

Yes. There was a fundraiser at my local park (where I walk) for a rescue society. One of the booths set up was a pet psychic. I seriously thought about going home and getting my cat Banzai. It could have been great laughs. OTOH, I didn't want to give this broad any money.

There was a pet psychic coming to my state, and I was contacted to help spread the word so she could get as many readings as possible. They wanted me to hang flyers at the feed stores etc. The reason they contacted me is she does a lot of horses, and since I have horses the organizers figured I would be interested. I explained that I was not interested......

We also apparently have some sort of college or school of Chinese medicine, evergy healing etc. in Santa Fe. One of my neighbors has been attending, trying to get some degree so she can practice on her own. As I recall it is a 3 or 4 year program. I have not yet had the time to look the school up and go there, and see what it is all about. Someday.
