Ok this is the first thread I have ever started here and to be quite honest it is none describe.

I am just curious as to why a new forum is not set up dedicated entirely to 911 conspiracies.

The forum we post under is conspiracy theories, but there are many of them. I know people like to discuses other theories so is there any reason why 911 is not given its own forum, since most of the discussion here is centred on it?

Since most of the traffic on this forum is centered on 9/11 CTs, wouldn't it make more sense to create a subforum for the other CTs instead?

I can't speak for the JREF, but this site is dedicated to skepticism, not 9/11. A conspiracy subforum should be sufficient to satisfy the needs of this topic. Most of the discussion in this subforum is about 9/11 anyway.

Very little "Teapot Dome" discussions going on to disrupt the 9/11 topics.

i think 9/11 conspiracies should be the whole forum and the rest of jref should be the subforum, lol

seriously everytime i come here i see like 80 people in the conspiracy forum, maybe 20 in paranormal, and 2-3 elsewhere

That's because we are gov't shills!:boxedin:

I don't think we need a specific 9/11 subforum. All of our sub-fora are set up to be broad groupings.

My earlier post was sarcasm, I think it's good, that it is all in one. Every now and then, something else shiny appears...

Do you mean nondescript? I'm going to assume so because otherwise the sentence makes no sense.

Anyhoo, that aside, if most of the discussion is centred on 9/11 CTs, then I don't see the justification for creating a sub-forum for what you are suggesting is a small amount of threads.

If there aren't many threads about other CTs, they don't warrant an entire section to themselves, surely?

Just like Science, Maths, Medicine and Technology share a section.

Thread titles are for distinguishing subject matter.

My two pence worth, anyway.

Yes I do mean nondescript and yes I have had a few two many glasses of wine to know the difference

it was just an idea, that’s all, not meant to provoke an argument.

It seems the topic of the day is 911; many people come here to exchange ideas about. It is debated more vigorously than other conspiracies. So why not put the heated debate into one forum?

The Conspiracy Theories forum was created precisely because of the rise in 9/11 threads. Before then, there was no dedicated CT place. So you could say the heated debate already is in one forum.

ETA: This is a discussion forum. I'm discussing this with you, not arguing.

Tuppence per person per week.

(My favourite line from an old story called "Albert and the Lion" that you just reminded me of, entirely apropos of nothing, but I just had to write this anyway)

The stick with the 'orse's 'ead 'andle?

I have two favourite lines from that:

"Yon lion's et Albert!"

and

"Eee, I am vexed!"
