Michael F. Scheuer is a former CIA employee. In his 22-year career, he served as the Chief of the Bin Laden Issue Station (aka "Alec Station"), from 1996 to 1999, the Osama bin Laden tracking unit at the Counterterrorist Center. He then worked again as Special Advisor to the Chief of the bin Laden unit from September 2001 to November 2004.

Wow, 9/11 deniers seem to act like experts about their world around them, despite their education and knowledge is limited to YouTube videos.

It's videos like this (which are all we seem to get from the Truth Movement) that really reveal their motives. They're more interested in playing "gotcha!" and racking up hits on their Youtube videos than they are in actual, constructive investigation.
 
Scheuer seems to be a very intelligent man who patiently answered the questions. I found it funny at the end of the video the truthers think they got mixed results. What possibly could be good about his answers? He said Bin Laden was responsible, which blows the whole inside job argument out of the water.

I find it amusing that in that respect, patriotism is used in the exact same manner they claim the "neocons" use it, as a club to beat back any questioning of their motives or "theories". And, of course, everyone who doesn't question 9/11 to their liking is either on government payroll or a "government apologist".


And of course, the truthists are convinced that bin Laden is both dead and a CIA operative, so saying "bin Laden did it" still fits into their inside job fantasy... somehow. I had three facepalm moments in that video... dancing Israelis, the reflexive default to building 7 and the Godwin violation. Oy.
