So over in the Forum Management section some discussion is going around about thread moderation, and that is good...I agree.

I do think, however, that we have enough regulars here, who want to spend most of their time here in the subforum, and who need a place to vent, or post bits of trivialness (latest stupid videos, etc...), and so I thought I would take it upon myself to start this thread, that is basicly any topic, anything goes, as long as people posting follow their membership agreement, and try to be as civil as possible.

So for those who need to vent, or want to post a video of the latest truther bs, etc....here is your thread.

I think this thread should be kept at the top however it can be done (mods can do it, or we can keep bumping it).

I will start it off. Twoofers suck, nobody likes them, and they have ZERO evidence of ANYTHING relevant. There I said it.

This thread for actual discussion or just another venting thread? Because if it's the latter, it's very unlikely to actually accomplish much.

I get you, and I agree. A direct attack on a member would be a violation of the MA. Parky knows his posting has been the topic of discussion. I also think (hope) that he knows how I feel about him both in terms of his contributions, and his posting pattern/content as of late.

If people want to come here and say,

"you know what really bothers me about the truthers as of late?" then they can here as well...

RATHER THAN HAVE 30-40 useless threads on each individual thing, when they probably do not need or deserve their own threads.

I have nothing to add...except a post stating I having nothing to add. Which is actually adding something, making the premise of my post, that I have nothing to add, inherently untrue.

I agree, this thread does serve a purpose, but I am a bit concerned that it will quickly degenerate to the pointless bickering between certain people that has plagued the sub-forum recently. Maybe make this a Moderated thread?


ETA: And there is ULTIMA1 proving my point.

And a story will also have to be told about the planes and passengers, the massive cover-up involving huge numbers of people and (miraculously) no leaks, and why the administration would have been so utterly insane as to try something like this (which hasn’t the remotest analogue in history).

But those considerations aside, the vasts amount of energy being poured into this has been quite harmful to activism on serious and urgent issues—hence the relevance of the speculations based on the declassification documents.

I think some 9-11 Conspiracy Theorists are stupid, some are insane, some are fascists, some are sheep, some are looking for attention...but they are ALL.....accomplishing nothing.
