I haven't been to any of the 9-11 deniar websites in a week or so. Today I went to LC and found the posts...the same as the old. A Neo-Nazi has taken over the "new world order" section at LC..and "The Virginia Tech Massacre was an Inside Job!!" has become the new pet project.

My reaction.....yawn.

Though I do wish Rosie would start talking about the VT massacre being an inside job. That would be funny...and would end her career.

Point being, if I am getting bored with this stuff, then so are they.

As twoofers get more desperate their theories get more and more absurd.

They have no new "evidence" so they're forced to make it up.

Yeah, it's kinda dull hearing the same things over and over, but some of the stuff they're forced to make up has been pretty funny. Keeps me tuned in. For now.

I think it's just the natural progression for a group of individuals who are claiming to be scientific but rely solely on lies, misinformation, and faith. As they continue to be debunked by such a strong force of scientific and informed bunch of critical thinkers, their claims naturally dwindle down into just pure madness. Unfortunately, the newbies coming into the conspiracists movement will often start at the beginning and have to be debunked all over again.

I really think the death ray from outer space/mini-nuke/etc theories are just so obviously ridiculous that the layman will just dismiss them outright- and fortunately, there's such a strong presence fighting against conspiracy theories in general that the more "persuasive theories" are already long dead.

It's getting less fun.
