Interesting "view" by a person who is tired of the conspiracists using only "video" to prove their points.



Uses the Tacoma Narrows Bridge Collapse to prove his point (because it was widely unknown why it collapsed until scientists and engineers figured it was resonance that caused it - the video is now used by experts across the nation and internationally on how not to build a suspension bridge)

What gets me is the "response" videos posted by those who responded.

Me, too. Thanks for finding this.

I read that IQ's are going up. It's nice to see some evidence of it. I'll bet this guy will find his way to JREF before too long.

Yes, I am the burnvictim77. I just gained admittance to this forum this very day. Glad people like what I did with those video. Even gladder that a Truther walked right into my fiendish trap, Gov't shill that I am. ;)

Give me a break, it was obviously controlled demolition, bridges don't just fall over when the wind blows.

Oddly enough though, we have a tradition of collapsing bridges here in the Pacific Northwest, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, the Hood Canal Bridge, the I-90 bridge. I think it is part of some government make-work project.
 
welcome burnvictim. Much of the resource you have used in your video commentary are actually done by a few members here. I happened upon your videos actually by accident (i can't remember what I was searching for when I was on Youtube)

You need to have a couple of posts under your belt before you can have one I think, like 50 or something.

Absolutely fantastic work, I must say. Welcome to the forums, you will find that being here will sharpen your debate and critical thinking skills, even just by reading the posts of others (Gravy is probably the best example although by no means the only one).

You know it's good work when the maker of the video response I responded to and the one subsequently made in response to my response (I hope you can follow that confusing clause) decides to make the videos private.

Seriously, he made a response to my Selective Skepticism video, trying desperately to pull out examples of mechanical resonance in bridges, and wound up simply showing a video of a helicopter destroying itself. To which I asked him, "If I showed you a video of a burning chopper, would you accept that as evidence that fire could bring down the WTC towers?" After that, he refused to debate the idea of controlled demolition of the towers - everything went private. So, I think I won that round, despite his beginning to refer to me as simply Victim "because that's the part you seem to want to play."
