Story #1 : Gunmen attacked a former United Nations office in a diplomatic quarter of Damascus - Tue, Apr 27, 2004

Story #2 : Jordanians Scared by al-Qaida Terror Plot - Tue, Apr 27, 2004

Story #3 : Convoys of police vehicles headed into a mountainous area northeast of Riyadh Tuesday to join a hunt for terror suspects - Tue, Apr 27, 2004

Three stories of terrorism, three different Arab countries, no Americans, Brits, Spaniards or jews involved. Anyone care to tackle the obvious? I say the terrorism monster these countries have harboured and nurtured for decades is finally turning on it's masters...

(can't wait to hear Demon's, the Fool's and a_u_p's 'spin' ... ;) )

Troll, not worthy of a response. Except to point out that your obsession with me is flattering but a little worrying too.
Ok, I'm finished talking to you...you can go back to reposting stuff.

Saudi has brought this on it's own head, as have the others. Sharon is also finding that extremists, once cultivated, are hard to control. Ditto the US with the Taliban.

Pakistan should get the credit for the Taliban. They didn't even exist until nearly 5 years after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan in '89. US aid to the resistance stopped after the Soviet withdrawal, and it was not involved in the civil war that followed and ultimately led to the Taliban.

I suspect you'll claim that the US got the ball rolling by funding the resistance in the '80's, but that's a stretch IMHO.

1) The Fool's response: "zenith is a Troll" 2) Demon's response: "To be continued...same Battime...same Batchannel" 3) a_unique_person's response: "Saudis had it coming, now Sharon and the US"....

The Fool attacks, Demon deflects with lame parody and a_u_p can't even talk about it without bringing up Sharon and the U.S. ;) Three posters three different spins. I wonder how these great intellects will handle this fourth story...

Once again, no Americans, Brits, Spaniards or jews involved.
