14th anniversary - where's the action??

Only a bit more than a week to go to the 14th anniversary of 9/11. I am sure millions will take to the streets and demand a new investigation, but ... where?

The only activity specially scheduled because it is the anniversary is a series of web broadcasts under the new name "rethinkseptember11" (I wonder if this is designed to be mistaken for the utterly failed ReThink911 campaign of 2013).
On September 11 and 12, they'll have these speakers: Bev Collins (Canada, not running for Parliament), Daniele Ganser (Switzerland, they spell his first name wrong - morons), Anthony Hall (Canada), Barrie Zwicker (Canada), Graeme MacQueen (Canada), James Corbett (Canadian/Japan), Kevin Ryan (USA), Cynthia McKinney (USA), David Johnson (never heard of him).
What fun way to spend friday and saturday, listening to webcasts for hours.

I'm planning on spending a few hours in the afternoon of September 11 at WTC. Literally, it's a hop and jump for me to get there by subway. Other than this webcast, do you know of anything that may go on at the site? Maybe you can find out? It could an eenteresting activity for me to take on.

I know of no other plans for activity, but I am not monitoring every truth group out there. Didn't see anything on AE911T or 911Blogger, nor at the two or three Facebook groups I infrequently scan.

Was out of town one year on my birthday and completely forgot about it.

Maybe truthers forgot about Sept 11 this year.

This happened to me once, too. Which isn't that very much surprising, if you knew me. The really astonishing thing is that my mother forgot, too! Luckily I have a twin sister who didn't forget. Cheerful helloooooos and laughs when she popped in at lunchtime

Maybe truthers forgot about Sept 11 this year.

My explanation is that there are so few truthers left, and the few are so disorganized, fragmented, disillusioned and out of resources that they simply cannot organize anything anymore. Gage's group, for examples, apparently is in shambles - someone is still running the Facebook site, someone is taking care of printing and sellling a booklet, but that's it. Their homepage is terribly out of date, hasn't had a news item in a month now, the Petition list hasn't been updated since April, and there is no mention of any trips, research, speaking engagements anywhere. Several of his staff have left in the last year or so, sometimes over disagreements.

I think they are getting no tangible results, other than keeping the cash flowing in... essentially a decade of failures to advance their agenda. The only people who take them seriously are their followers... no press... no pols... no talking heads...

Even the antiwar movement, the anti nuke movement, environmental movement got more attention... even some support from pols, and people in the media..

Try forgetting your wedding anniversary. The longest year of my life ran from the day I forgot to the next year when ozrco43 forgot. We both joke about it now. Divorce will probably come when I describe how to do something on the computer starting with the words "You just....[do this]

On age and birthdays I've reached the stage where I need to do the 2015 - 1941 = math. Got it wrong before June 29 this year and spent several weeks thinking I was a year older then I am... I don't forget the June 29 birthday - my younger by 3 years brother is June 27 so for ~40 years he has phoned me on June 28 to exchange greetings.

Looks like "end times" - or as close as you will get with a process running asymptotic to zero.

If we switch from truth Organisation activities onto Forum Discussion -- activity is near zero across the five forums I've been a regular poster on over the years. This one the only one with a remnant of genuine interest in discussing technical issues in the area of engineering physics collapse mechanics -- where my my main interest lies. Plus ongoing activity in your two strong areas Oystein - monitoring AE911 and Truth Movement Statistics and ThermXte/Dust science. Set those two aside what else is active?

I've copped some minor flack on another thread for explaining for a "newbie" the current status where activity is much focused on remnant entrenched truthers v debunkers
and contrasting with my experiences of the scenario on other forums back around 2006-7-8.

I'll stay with my opinion based on my experience - there was a lot more discussion across a wider range of topics in former years. And there is a lot less discussion now and it is more polarised into preset positions.

To me it looks like we are in "end times" for forum discussion which is also in "asymptotic to zero" mode in parallel with the apparent approaching death of truth movement activities out there in the wider world.

The "anti-war" motivation is probably a genuine area of truth movement concern. And doomed to not progress whilst some - like AE911 - premise their strategy on CD at WTC.

Anti war has been around since, well,,,,, before either of us ozeco. Some people are of the odd notion that paying huge sums of money to ensure some cadre of the most loyal and fittest men(and now women) in the country, do not live past their mid-twenties, is a bad thing. Even going as far as to say that war is "insane".

Ooh, you beat me to it! I'd go to the engagement by the church at 7PM, but I have plans that evening. However, they will be educating the public outside the National 911 Museum from 9AM to 5PM. That I certainly could make. Exactly what is it you'd like me to do? I could pretend to be a truther? Ideas are needed!

It shouldn't be a problem. This is not a difficult task. I'm good at nosing around inconspicuously when I have to and also willing to mingle and speak with a few. Any idea of leading truthers you think may be there? I saw Barbara Honegger and Les Jamieson will be speaking at the symposium the following day. Hmm...

Not to veer off topic, but tomorrow night on the Smithsonian Channel an hour show called, "The Missing Evidence: 9/11 Secret Explosion in the Towers," will be airing. I have it set to record in Super HD!
