vcd

I'm in the middle of a projected 360min burn to svcd. I burned a couple at vcd it took only 90 to 120 min. seing as i have 4hrs to wait for a direct comparison. any thoughts? :(

Is there a free program out there that converts and burns from files to VCD format? As opposed to burning DVD's to VCD. I guess I could throw 25 or 30 bucks to Nero, but if someone put a free one out there I'd like to try it.
