I don't know if it was announced or noted anywhere at TAM 8, but the JREF USB stick we got has stuff on it. Its capacity is 2GB, with about 244MB used.

I'm told all Bluetooth adapters are not the same, and I can well believe it. I've had troubles with a cheap-and-cheerful one, which failed to maintain a decent connection between my mobile phone and its management software (but had no problems linking through the OS), though another adapter...
I don't know how, but it got bent while it was plugged in and now I can't read anything from it. Is it repairable? Or do I now have to commit hiri kiri? (It was given to me at work.)
O.k... so I'm kicking though Costco the other day.... and something jumps off the shelf at me that LOOKS like a dream-come-true
Western Digital Passport 160G USB External Storage
It even LOOKS like McCoy Pauley (10 points for getting the reference!)

I have a wireless network in my house. I connect wirelessly with my Mac laptop, and up until yesterday I had my PC connected with a hardwire into the router.
I moved the PC, and it doesn't have built in wireless capability, and I can't move the router without running a pain in the ass cable...
Any Tivo owners out there ever connect to a computer using the USB to ethernet cable that comes with an APC UPS? Since I don't have a wireless network (and don't want to buy more equipment to make one), I'm looking to hook up Tivo to a computer the old fashioned way. However, the reviews I saw...
I have some files on a 1G USB flash drive.
When I try to access it, I get the warning that "The disk in Drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?"
(I've tried on 3 different computers, so it must be a fault with the drive)
Are all my files irretreivably lost?
:(
I need it so I can connect to my home network, and thus the interent.
It's a D-Link DWL-G122 USB adapter revision B1.

I think I've got USB 2.0 ports on my Mac G4, but the transfer rate is glacially slow. When I look at my system profile on my Mac, it says the USB ports are...
I just got a new multimedia keyboard which is really slick. There is an option to plug it in using either a USB port or the dedicated keyboard port which I think is called a PS/2. Is there any advantage of using the USB over the PS/2?
I've tried it both ways and haven't noticed any...
I recently bought a new Dell Dimension 8400 desktop PC. Great machine, except I’m having problems with USB conflicts.
Here is the problem. I have an external Maxtor 80 GB hard drive and a Memorex 0.5 GB thumb drive. The PC can see either one of these devices when they are plugged into a...
My daughter bought a new computer (compaq). She is not particularly computer literate. She tried plugging her digital camera USB connector into the computer to download photos and keeps getting i/o errors. I live 800 miles away, and can not troubleshoot this over the phone. Anybody have any...
What's the best brand to get? Is price and capacity the only consideration, or should I consider something else? Are there reliability differences between brands, or between different storage capacities? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
