tambassadors

A TAMbassador is someone who volunteers to answer questions from other attendees, but almost entirely from First TAMers. Mostly general questions such as "Where is the registration desk?", "Am I allowed to leave in the middle of a presentation?", and "Who is this James Randi fellow, anyway?"...

Add your name to the list if you are interested in being a TAMbassador this year. I will not be able to attend, but Wowbagger has generously offered to be the on-site contact. He will have new big orange buttons (with dark text this year instead of white) for all who need one. Name|Days...

With TAM a week away (YAY!), I thought it would be a good idea for the TAMbassadors to post a photo and a bit about ourselves so we can recognize each other when we get there. Ashley Crow Los Angeles, CA This will be my 5th TAM (6, 8, 9, 10, and this year)

Last year there was a group of forumites who organized a team to help folks find their way around during TAM. We had bright orange buttons that said "Tambassador" and tried our best to help folks learn the little tricks that make TAM even more fun. Are we planning to do this again this year...

I think it would be a great idea to post pictures of TAMbassadors, so that we can be easily recognized and, better, already have something to talk about. :) So I'm Luciana, 36, Brazilian, travelling to Vegas for the 5th time only to attend TAMs. This year I'll do a pre-trip with other forum...

After the discussion on a thread or two about having TAMbassadors to answer questions, who would be willing to wear a bright button and answer questions to those who ask? I would.
