It's worth reading for the explanation behind that, especially since it wasn't exactly a secret meeting and he wasn't the only one to meet them in Paris.
These are, in my opinion, very similar lies. Yet the Swift Boat Vets allegations have lingered a lot longer, doing much more damage than did the forged memos on Bush's service in the National Guard.
