social networking

I was wondering if anyone who does social network has switched to Google Plus and if you are using it to replace Facebook. I currently use both but my tech oriented friends seem to be oriented more toward Google Plus.

It seems to me a case of mass hysteria, using Facebook and YouTube as a vector. Some people are claiming it's Morgellon's (somehow), while others are blaming a type of strep throat which can lead to OCD, and still others are blaming a chemical spill.
