Microchips have been implanted into pets, Alzheimer's patients, military, corporate executives. Is there a concern regarding the implantation of RFID microchips into the human population? Moving this thread to Current Events and Social Issues because it's not really about politics. Let's try...

So, the rfid chip. Is this really planned to be put into humans? We know it exists for chipping pets etc. But will we be forced to have it at some point? I have seen Unsecured Coins hoax about the chip(which was genius btw) and how it proved Alex Jones to be a fearmongering sensationalist...yet...

What's our collective opinion on their use? Should they be mandatory? Are the alleged health risks worth addressing? And why would a law-abiding citizen care that a computer is watching him pee?

I think everyone remembers the post, by Unsecured Coins, a few weeks back, about his RFID implant. There were some pretty strong reactions by the JREF, SLC, and LC blog posters, about this involuntary implant being forced on him. The good news is........ See Link...

I just realized that Alex Jones can't make up his mind. As early as 2004 he was blabbering about a Cashless Society, and now were going for a North American Currency? What gives? You can't have it both ways Alex! Discuss.

Study. Im not a biologist so I really can't comment on this. It seems a bit far feteched though.
