It's the x-ray one that really baffles me. X-rays may be detected easily. However, objects that have been through an airport xray scanner do not then emit x-rays, and so cannot be identified by any x-ray detection device. What about this is so hard to understand? But Rouser keeps telling us...

If a PC has a problem wherein after booting up and starting normal stuff, it very quickly grinds to a halt because it has a bunch of processes starting up and not shutting down, what might be the problem? Anyone know?
