    Chronic Pain and Opiod Addiction

    Can anyone explain to me why opiod addiction is more important than chronic pain? As a chronic pain sufferer, I am very frustrated by the opposition to cannibis and opiod pain medications. People like me are not even usually mentioned in the news articles. Why?
