The subject of this thread occurred to me after perusing AvalonXQ's thread on omniscience and free will, i.e. the question of whether or not God's omniscience makes free will impossible. My feeling is that it would. However, I didn't bother posting on the thread, because others had pretty well...
To any believers in an all-powerful God, I have a question for you. It may seem stupid at first, but it is a serious question, and I'm interested in seeing serious responses to this question. Here goes...

Early this evening I was having a debate/discussion with my friend that began with the Hot-Burrito-Paradox. I don't know if that's what it's properly called, but the general question is: if God is omnipotent, can he create a burrito so hot that he can't eat it?

Is it not obvious to all but the insane that the very fact that you/we have 'free will', to choose between right and wrong, proves that God can not control everything. Ergo, IT is no omnipotent (QED).
A possible [and usual] response would be that IT chooses not to control our decisions; but...

omnipotence in god must be false if life has meaning for an individual. if god is all powerfull, then god must determine all events, therefore we make no decisions and only follow the path which god has directed us to take.
