There is a house mouse in my kitchen that wasn't there less than an hour ago and it's literally running around in circles non-stop, occasionally squealing quietly. It has slowed down just a bit but shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Any ideas as to how it could have come out into the open...

I've been wondering this for a couple of days now. I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the word mice in reference to a plural of computer mouse.
