The 9/11 CTers are always going on about how the WTC collapsed "faster than freefall". Have any of them ever proven this? That is, told us the speed of a object free-falling through the air, and then told us the precise speed of fall of the WTC?

I don't believe in the controlled demolition theory, but I am constantly puzzled by the skeptics denial that the towers fell essentially in freefall. It appears to be another case of just refuting truthers arguments simply because they are truthers. NIST themselves admit this in Section 6.14.4...

I remember reading a few links about how CTers completely disagree with the freefall "collapse" of the Twin Towers, but I can't seem to find it around here. Anyone know which links I am talking about?

Skunkrider, Please provide a clear definition by what you mean by the phrase, "collapsed partly in free fall speed" and provide substantiating evidence to support your definition and conclusions.

A co-worker seems to have bought into the MIHOP scenarios, and he had a new take on the "OMGzors the buildings fell faster than free-fall" issue. Put simply, he said that the wave of destruction travels downwards faster than free-fall, and that this is the controlled demolition being triggered...
