    Who are your favorite and least favorite painters?

    And why? (I've specifically limited this to painters so it will be apples-to-apples comparisons.) I was just watching some of the hysteria over on the thread in SInCE about Thomas Kincaid. Wow, people take their art pretty seriously here. I've never been one to get overly excited about art...
