This recent analysis from Gallup suggests that McCain is in serious trouble, losing support from Independent and Democratic women ever since he chose Palin as his VP.
Now, this is only one analysis, and I'm suspicious of polls, so it would be interesting to see other analyses of this particular...

Appears to be beating McCain 48 percent to 33 percent, with the independents pulling in 7%.
This said, I remember a 20 point lead for Kerry at one time.

Now, though it may go against my actual political preferences, I am hoping for Huckabee to beat Romney to show that money isn't all that matters in these things. Though, to be honest, I really doubt that.
So it looks like Obama may get the victory he needs to try to catch up with Hillary...
