    Does classical music affect plant growth?

    While I think this old claim seems quite ridiculous, I'd like to see some studies on the subject. So far all I've been able to find are grade school science projects, and I'd like something a little bit more reliable and scientific.

    Heavy Metal or Classical: What do plants prefer?

    This is most probably an old UL that I'm sure many here are familiar with: playinga plant classical music to "aid" its growth or heavy metal to p*ss it off. I'm wondering if any studies have been done regarding this and where I might find the findings.
