    Cannot restore audio (or restore multimedia audio controller devices/drivers)

    I am not sure when this happened exactly. The problem is that I cannot get audio of any kind, use/update audio drivers, or even roll back to an older functioning driver for my audio device(s). I've gone through the help/troubleshoot procedures and even attempted to download new drivers...
