web tech issues for Swift blog

If you click on the "swift" link at the top of every forum page. this older entry is always the first showing at the following link ,

even since Swift has been updated? Is it some kind of "sticky" or a tech error?

you don't see it first and there have been several entries under the Swift tag since so it isn't "stuck" there.

One other problem is that the articles have no dates. So it can be hard to work out when it was written. But you are right the newest one is not on the top.

The ones showing on the home page have dates but as you've found, not on the other link.
A blog without dates? Who'd have though it?

A blog that talks about many subjects without a date is not worth much. Information gets out of date, so people need to know when it was written. Example this blog http://www.randi.org/site/index.php...tism-putting-the-cart-before-the-unicorn.html mentions "Chelation therapy is a legitimate treatment for real heavy metal poisoning." What happens if some other treatment is found to replace Chelation therapy? A person who then reads it without realising it is old may think that the person does not know what they are talking about and reject SWIFT entirely not realising it is old.

Still the same. Nobody from the JREF bothering to read or monitor a JREF forum section on the JREF itself .

I can give you some more evidence of that. In the last 12 months there has been only two articles that reference the forum. Both of them have happened in the comments and not the article itself.

The forum should be a valuable resource for JREF however it is ignored by them. Except when they have an issue with it.

Or when it's that time of year for fundraising when the forum membership mailing list suddenly comes in handy.
Ok we are guests here for free, as with most forums. but as I've said before we are mostly just tolerated if not ignored here.
The swift blog is however the JREF' s window to the world and my post was simply to try to help plug a fault with that.
