Illuminator
A perfect candidate for "owning the libs." MAGA folk are real men who die with Covid and run their pick ups into trees in bad weather (two in my county today).
I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. You're using Snopes? Really? I bet you didn't bother to read a single one of the articles. Again, you might read Dr. Rand Paul's book and RFK Jr.'s book.Nope. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bad-medicine/
Ooo! Del Bigtree's anti-vax mob! Sure, I'm going to give them credence! LOL
Aah, your own anti-vax page. Jolly good.
We have. Conclusion: Usual anti-vax raving nonsense. Being an anti-vaxxer is like seeing someone else choke on food, so they swear off eating for life.
There are many different types of COVID vaccine, made by different methods and using different modes of operation. They include the standard manufacturing methods used for decades for other vaccines which he has (apparently) taken. So specifically which ones has RFK Jr. not had, pray tell?
The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death. Rather than giving forum-ites a homework assignment, could you present **a single** point or argument from one of those books or articles with accompanying evidence and links that you think is the *best* one?I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. I had a cousin who had polio when she was very young, maybe the 1952 outbreak. She recovered though she walked with a limp -- one leg was shorter than the other -- and had to wear a back brace. I think it also affected her growth. she was under five feet tall. Her brother and two sisters, father and mother, were all in the 5'7" to 6'0" range. She was pretty active as an adult but I know it was difficult for her. Her family was just happy that 1) she survived it and 2) wasn't permanently paralyzed.

Curious: Biden just gave COVID vaccine makers immunity from being sued for injuries and other harmful side effects:
And, just on a point of fact: RFK Jr. is **not** "anti-vaccine." He's fine with any vaccine that undergoes the same safety tests that prescription drugs have to undergo: randomized and double-blind. And, BTW, I've had every vaccine recommended by the CDC, including the COVID vaccine.
How do you do a randomised and double blind polio vaccine trail?
Give half a placebo then infect them all see how many children die?
How about Tetanus?
By testing it against the current standard of care. How do you do a randomised and double blind polio vaccine trail that doesn't kill children?
How about Tetanus?
I asked you to name the vaccines RFK Jr. has not used. I never said he has taken none.I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. You're using Snopes? Really? That has been going on for decades...apparently. So we are all now part fruit-fly!Don't you know? mRNA isn't a vaccine it's an experimental gene therapy!!
I asked you earlier which of the vaccines we good and which are bad.I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. You're using Snopes? Really? I bet you didn't bother to read a single one of the articles. Again, you might read Dr. Rand Paul's book and RFK Jr.'s book.

I wouldn't rely on it. When I was at uni we had a mumps outbreak, of the 3 guys I knew who got it, all had already had it as kids. I hadn't, and didn't. Not a single mump.I got the trifecta -- measles, mumps, and chicken pox -- as a preadolescent, so I'm probably immune to more infection;
He absolutely is anti-vaccine.And, just on a point of fact: RFK Jr. is **not** "anti-vaccine."
In July, Kennedy said in a podcast interview that“There’s no vaccine that is safe and effective” and told FOX News that he still believes in the long-ago debunked idea that vaccines can cause autism. In a 2021 podcast he urged people to “resist” CDC guidelines on when kids should get vaccines. “I see somebody on a hiking trail carrying a little baby and I say to him, better not get them vaccinated,” Kennedy said. Associated Press article link
We could say he's not anti-vaxx, he just prefers disease a lot more. But even that understates how much of a total disaster his claims would be if put into practice.I suppose one could bend and twist a little and say RFK is not "anti vaccine," because he is not abstractly against the idea that some kind of vaccine yet to be invented would be good. He's only against all the ones that actually exist.
IOW, he's extended the 2020 Trump era protection from anti-vax idiots. Like I said,I used to be as closed-minded on this issue as you are, so I understand. You're using Snopes? Really? Yes he would, he'd say to T****y "Yes, master, I will vote to get rid of the polio vaccine. You are the bravest, kindest, most compassionate and cleverest man that I have met in my whole life".The New York Times reported on a lawyer closely associated with RFK Jr, namely Aaron Siri. They wrote, "The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death. That campaign is just one front in the war that the lawyer, Aaron Siri, is waging against vaccines of all kinds." One almost wishes that Senator McConnell would still be the ranking republican in the senate next year; he would have something to say about this, I am sure.
For others. RFK is the kind of b'stard who would hoard everything to himself if he could.I suppose one could bend and twist a little and say RFK is not "anti vaccine," because he is not abstractly against the idea that some kind of vaccine yet to be invented would be good. He's only against all the ones that actually exist.

Robert F Kennedy Jr to Ban Drugs

Oh. You’re back again and still ignoring my questions. Here's some food for thought, some information that our Big Pharma-bought media has refused to cover:
https://justthenews.com/government/...recipients-wrote-tens-thousands-injuries-left EXCERPT:
"The earliest recipients of newly authorized COVID-19 vaccines, including healthcare workers, wrote in tens of thousands of adverse events related to the heart, ears, reproductive system and other conditions not listed as checkboxes in a federal active monitoring smartphone app.
"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the past two months turned over 780,000 "free text" entries from V-safe, the agency's vaccine-safety monitoring system, under a January order by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Freedom Coalition of Doctors for Choice.
"It kept holding out for more than a year after turning over the checkbox answers in a different FOIA lawsuit by the Informed Consent Action Network, which revealed nearly 8% of V-safe users said they required medical care, another 12% couldn't perform normal daily activities and yet another 13% said they missed work or school."
And this wasn't the first time that federal health officials tried to cover up troubling facts about a vaccine. Do you know anything about the scandal regarding the first polio vaccine in the 1950s?
Shortly before the first polio vaccine was to be administered in a nationwide inoculation in April 1954, at the eleventh hour, a bacteriologist at NIH was told to safety-test the new polio vaccine. Her name was Bernice Eddy, M.D., PhD. When she injected the polio vaccine into her monkeys, they fell paralyzed in their cages. Eddy realized that the virus in the vaccine was not dead as promised, but still alive and ready to breed. It was time to sound the alarm. She sent pictures of the paralyzed monkeys to NIH’s management and warned them of the upcoming tragedy.
A debate erupted in the corridors of power. A handful of prominent doctors across the country stepped into the fray to throw the weight of their reputations on the side of the vaccine. One of these doctors was Dr. Alton Ochsner. To demonstrate his conviction that the vaccine was really ready, he inoculated his own grandchildren with it.
The mass inoculation proceeded on schedule. Within days, children fell sick from polio, some were crippled, some died. Estimates vary dramatically. Ochsner’s grandson died. His granddaughter contracted polio but survived. An enormous lawsuit erupted. Heads rolled everywhere. The Secretary of Health, Education & Welfare (Oveta Hobby) stepped down. The Director of the National Institutes of Health (Dr. William Sebrell) resigned. It was the biggest fiasco in medical history. A second, safer vaccine developed by Albert Sabin was deployed. It used a weakened live virus instead of a dead virus. It worked. Polio was history.
In the aftermath of the debacle, Bernice Eddy was taken off polio research and transferred to the influenza section by the thankless NIH management. She shared her frustrations with a small group of women scientists who ate brown-bag lunches on the steps of one of the laboratories. There Eddy met a tenacious scientist named Sarah Stewart, M.D., PhD., who was waging her own battle against the official paradigms of bureaucratic medicine. Bernice Eddy and Sarah Stewart became close friends.
Sarah Stewart’s name remains virtually unknown today, despite her huge contribution to modern medicine. Not only did she prove that some cancers were caused by viruses, but subsequent research on the virus she discovered led to the discovery of DNA recombination, which is one of the most powerful tools in medical research today.

Talk is cheap and prominent Republicans have often expressed doubts about Trump, his policies and his nominees but they still support him when push comes to shove."McConnell, a polio survivor, said in a statement that 'efforts to undermine public confidence in proven cures are not just uninformed – they’re dangerous.'" The "dramatic" difference in death estimates appears to be whether 5 children died or 10 children died. At a time when 1000's of children were dying from polio every year. This was due to a defective manufacturing process by a single drug company. The mass inoculation proceeded on schedule. Within days, children fell sick from polio, some were crippled, some died. Estimates vary dramatically.
How many medical researchers are well known to the public? Sarah Stewart and Bernice Eddy were twice nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine. They had a virus named after them. In 1965, Sarah Stewart received the Federal Woman's Award from President Johnson.Sarah Stewart’s name remains virtually unknown today, despite her huge contribution to modern medicine. Virtually every vaccine or drug has harmed a few people. It would be virtually impossible to produce any medication that had no adverse effects on anyone. So if your standard is that we should have a zero tolerance policy for all medications then we probably need to get rid of most medications. But that will cost far more lives than it saves.
They are also in favour of all the frighteningly dangerous and frequently fatal diseases the "unsafe" vaccines prevent. They are enthusiastic cheer squads for the plague, polio, smallpox, measles, mumps, chickenpox, typhoid, rubella, influenza, COVID, etc., etc. They want these back. They like exposing their children to harmful, disfiguring, killer diseases. That's the nice people they are. That's the basic anti-vaxxer position. It allows them to claim that they aren't anti-vax because they would be in favour of a completely safe vaccine.
Reminds me of the old joke: "I don't do cocaine, I just really like the smell."We could say he's not anti-vaxx, he just prefers disease a lot more.
He's gonna feel like a real jerk when he votes yes."McConnell, a polio survivor, said in a statement that 'efforts to undermine public confidence in proven cures are not just uninformed – they’re dangerous.'" Good on him for saying so.
