black evangelical and evangelical are two differing strands within US christianity.
Sure, Black and white evangelical strands differ, but it is a little odd to call only one of them "evangelical" as if only it counted as such.

It's a common habit of some fundamentalist sects to call themselves "Christian" to distinguish themselves from Catholics, Episcopalians, Methodists and Quakers and all those other degenerates, but it's ideologically charged if you are from one of those sects, and uninformative if you aren't. I would suggest it is similar if you exclude the subsets from any set.

What happens if he goes to prison and wins the election while in prison? Can he serve as president while in prison??

What happens if trump wins the election while in prison, could he serve? According to numerous news sources-
The answer is decidedly “yes,” he can still run, be elected, and even win under the latter — and latest —circumstances. But he might have to exercise his duties from a different abode, a penitentiary. Ft Myers Fla. News-Press link

I don't think this is too likely but in the ******** the US is becoming, who knows? :(

IMO there are millions, possibly tens of millions, who would vote for an imprisoned Donald Trump just for gits and shiggles. Add that to the Trump base and people who will vote for the GOP Presidential candidate regardless and you've got a very viable candidate. :(

That would make an interesting question on the next Pew Research poll:
If donald trump was in prison on Election Day 2024 would you still be willing to vote for him?
  • Yes
  • No
  • Would consider it
  • Not sure

Or for Jordan Klepper interviews. ;)

Ankle monitor. Trump to stay 2 years in the White House or two designated golf courses he can visit. Visits within 5 mile range of White House permitted. No foreign trips. Just like Putin!

From: Yahoo News
The "Pastors For Trump National Prayer Call," held on Monday invited guests like Trump ally Roger Stone and retired Gen. Michael Flynn...and Trump himself.... after Trump joined the call, host Jackson Lahmeyer...asked him what specific prayer request Trump had for the pastors on the call. At that point, Trump's audio disconnected.... " I think what happened was that the radical left was working on the phone. There is no question about it," Trump claimed, without providing further evidence.

So either evidence showing just how evil and devious those on the left are (hacking into an innocent phone call), or the bizarre rantings of a con-artist who was asked something religious and hung up in a fit of panic.

The live feed did come back up after a couple minutes. The event's sponsors think the number of participants overloaded the site and it froze up. trump rejoined the program though I'm not sure he ever answered the question as to what specific prayer request he had. Probably trump has so many 'fave' prayers it was hard for him to pick just one.

By the way, the gent on the far left on the image below is Joe Hoft, founder and editor of The Gateway Pundit, which Wikipedia describes as a "far-right, fake news site."

MAGA!!!

MAGA!!!

Trump has never said a prayer in his life, and Stone has only ever prayed for his Cialis to kick in before the escort's hour is up.

The fact that the Republicans have gotten heartland Ma and Pa churchgoer to put this much devotion behind a guy who can't walk past a church without bursting into flames but the Democrats can't get "Eat the Rich" and "Each the Rich 99% of the Time" under the same tent without them eating each other alive would be hilarious if wasn't causing so many problems.

What I find the saddest, scariest, and most revealing is the people they are highlighting aside from Trump: Flynn, Stone, and Hoft. These are the kind of people who support Trump and with whom Trump surrounds himself: birds of a feather. All absolute nut cases and the first two are convicted criminals whom Trump pardoned for no reason other than they are his vocal supporters.

Roger Stone says Trump just called him and they prayed together over the phone: “He is a man completely without fear because he puts his faith in the Lord.”

Well, Stone is getting older, so it's not unexpected for him to be a bit mixed up. I think he meant "He is a man completely without the Lord because he puts his faith in fear."

Funny how the audio cut out at exactly that point. If the "radical left" had wanted to cause problems they would have cut him off way earlier, or simply sabotaged the whole call. Or, if they wanted to make it seem like he could not have answered that question, they would have let him try to answer it...which he obviously could not without his mouth running amok independent of his one remaining neuron.

What happened was clearly one of his minders put him on mute. They knew damn well he could not answer that question. Very likely that was the "emergency bail-out excuse" plan all along, btw.

From the Yahoo News link:
Speaking to The Daily Beast's Zachary Petrizzo, Lahmeyer blamed "trolls" for flooding the "backstage" of the prayer call. "Everything froze on our end," Lahmeyer told The Daily Beast. "I think the system got overloaded with the number of viewers."

From the Daily Beast:
“OK, I guess we have some phone miscommunication,” Trump said after his audio reconnected at one point. “The radical left was working on the phone. There is no question about it. Hello?” Trump added. Increasingly frustrated, Trump said he couldn’t hear anyone on the other side of the line and moved to end the call. “Uhhh,” the former president is heard, sighing before being disconnected from the call.

Pastors for Trump founder Jackson Lahmeyer additionally said it could have been a “hack,” or their phone system’s back end being overloaded with viewers. “Everything froze on our end,” he continued. “I think the system got overloaded with the number of viewers,” the leader told The Daily Beast while tossing cold water on an internet conspiracy theory pushed by The Gateway Pundit. I'm sure one of our resident Trump supporters who likes to give the Gateway Pundit as a source believes it.

I agree. The radical left would know to let the rant rip.

Not sure what “come a cropper” means in this context, but would not be able to pardon himself for state crimes.

That’s true.

But it is a very reasonable assumption that he will put pressure on Georgia’s governor to pardon him.

Trump would likely call on the entire Republican Party to get the pardon from the governor, and he might send the MAGAheads to the governor’s mansion. Every clown in this circus will be chanting RINO, RINO, RINO.

From the Daily Beast:

Besides, Trump would not have been afraid of the question. He’d do his little song and dance: My favorite prayer is “God, please protect America from all enemies foreign and domestic. Especially protect us from the demon worshipping Democrats. Do they actually worship demons. I don’t know. But that what people are saying. Amen”

...I'm sure one of our resident Trump supporters who likes to give the Gateway Pundit as a source believes it.

In March 2017 The New Yorker Magazine ran a feature article titled, "Trolling the Press Corps," by Andrew Marantz. As part of the story Marantz spent a considerable amount of time interviewing Gateway Pundit founder/editor Joe Hoft. Most of their interviews took place in Washington DC with Marantz accompanying an on-the-go Hoft, including a final interview -- Hoft was flying back to his St. Louis base that afternoon -- at lunch in a Washington restaurant popular with members of the press. Hoft ordered lemonade and took a phone call. Marantz wrote:
Before Hoft left for the airport, I told him that he should expect to hear from a member of The New Yorker’s fact-checking staff. “Oh yeah, just like at the Gateway Pundit,” Hoft said. “We've got a huge department of full-time fact-checkers.” He laughed so hard that he nearly spilled his lemonade.

But the real joke is on the delusional fools who take seriously what Hoft 'reports.' :(

Jim Hoft, but otherwise you are spot on. Gateway is a joke.

Strange. The man in the National Prayer Call ad is listed as Joe Hoft. But Jim Hoft is the founder and editor of The Gateway Pundit. So who is Joe Hoft? He's Jim's twin brother. Joe Hoft also has a talk radio show, is an author and frequent contributor to The Gateway Pundit. His latest book is "The Steal." From the blurb on Amazon:
President Trump, a billionaire, who despite constant harassment and attacks from the Democrats, members of his own party, Big Media, Big Tech, and foreign entities, was very popular and his base was the largest in US history. His opponent was a failing old man picked by Democrat elites, President Obama's Vice President, Joe Biden.

Below is Jim on the left, Joe on the right.

Here's a link to a Rifftrax-like live videocast of the rally. The FPDJT starts in a few minutes. I've watched a few of them at times and while the host can be annoying, it sometimes has some funny stuff.

And you know what? Someday it will become time for them to leave this beautiful earth, and they’ll be able to leave their farm without taxes to their children. I got rid of the death tax on farms so that when you do pass away on the assumption that you love your children, you can leave it to them and they won’t have to pay tax. But if you don’t love your children so much and there are some people that don’t, and maybe deservedly so, it won’t matter because frankly, you don’t have to leave them anything.

Another one of Trump's lies. I know...shocking, ain't it?

From FactCheck.org:

In calling for the repeal of the estate tax, President Donald Trump repeated a popular myth that a farmer’s heirs often have to “sell the farm” in order to pay the tax. In fact, less than 1 percent of the heirs of farm owners are expected to have to pay any estate tax. A professor who has been studying the issue for decades told us he has never come across a single farm or ranch that had to be sold in order to pay the tax.
Speaking about his tax proposal at the Indiana Farm Bureau Building, Trump painted a picture of small businesses and farmers “in particular” whose businesses are lost to “the crushing, the horrible, the unfair estate tax, or as it is often referred to, the death tax.”

Trump is only worried about HIS estate tax liabilities. Probably something to do with New York properties going bust?

Doubt it. He doesn't give a **** about his kids and their ability to inherit. Sure he'd like to be fabulously wealthy when he dies but he doesn't care if they are able to inherit.
