    When we moved to Xenfora some of the signature options didn't come over. In the old software signatures were limited by a character limit, on Xenfora there are more options and there is a character number and number of lines limit. I've set maximum number of lines to 4 and unlimited characters.

Isn't that true of every application on every operating system? Apple is locked down but nothing stops Apple from creating loopholes in their systems.

Potentially yes. Even on z/OS which is unique in that it doesn't have to make a profit just work, an IBM product blew a hole in it by writing a super authorised program that could be called by a user program to basically run as root. They broke rule 1 of writing such programs.
I haven't seen such advisories for windows for a while but years back they were rife.
